I’m Getting Back to My Roots

I’m Getting Back to My Roots

Over the last year, I found myself drifting. Not in a dramatic, everything-is-falling-apart kind of way, but in a quiet, creative way that honestly matters just as much.

I started designing more for what I thought people wanted instead of what actually felt like me. While that kind of balance is part of running a business, I came to realize I had leaned a little too far in that direction.

So I fixed that.

I don’t want Cult Glitter to feel like a big-box store where you can find a little bit of everything but none of it feels personal. I don’t want to be Walmart. I want to be Cult Glitter.

I built this brand on a very specific vibe, style, and energy and I’m bringing that back into focus. It started with the website redesign. If you’ve been on the site recently you've already seen the shift. I left cookie-cutter expectations and designed for myself. That was step one.

Step two is what I’m most excited about: the designs.

Moving forward, you’re going to see drops that feel more like me again, created for people who get it, not just for the widest possible audience. That doesn’t mean I’m ignoring the practical side of this business (because we all know we’re designing for customers too), but it does mean you’re going to feel a much stronger point of view in everything I release.

And honestly? That’s where the magic is.

Next week’s Obsidian Circle early release is a big example of that shift. It’s very “me” but in a way you probably won’t expect. I can't wait for you to see it.

Speaking of Obsidian Circle, there have been some major upgrades. I’ve reworked the perks across the board to make the membership more valuable, including priority vinyl pricing and better overall benefits.

If you’re already a member, you’re going to notice the difference. If you’ve been thinking about joining, now is a really good time. Note: Obsidian Circle renews on the 15th of each month if you'd rather wait a couple days, or get it now and so you get both months of the 5 Free Exclusive Monthly Vinyls shipped to you within a week.

Vinyl itself also got an upgrade. You’ll now see a new 10x10 sizing option, along with updated pricing, especially on wraps and 10x10 sheets. And of course, Obsidian Circle members save even more on top of that.

This is all part of the same shift. Refining, improving, and making sure everything actually aligns with what I want this brand to be.

And finally, just as a little bonus this week—if you grabbed (or grab) a June subscription box, you’ll get 20% off glitter automatically. No code needed.

More intentional designs. Better perks. Stronger identity. I'm getting back to the good stuff.
